Delete your Doggy Ji account

This page is for the Doggy Ji app (developer: {{site.company}}). You can delete your account and its data right here, or in the app.

Deleting is permanent. Your profile, pets, chats and bookings cannot be brought back afterwards.

Option 1: sign in here and delete

Sign in with the email and password of your Doggy Ji account, or with Google. We don't keep your password or sign you in on this device.

Forgot your password? Open the app and tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen. Can't sign in at all? Use the app (Option 2) or the email request (Option 3).

This permanently deletes your profile, pets, matches, chats, bookings and login. It cannot be undone.

Your Doggy Ji account has been deleted.

Your data has been erased, except the records described below, which are kept without your name. If you still have the app, you can uninstall it.

Option 2: delete it in the app

  1. Open the Doggy Ji app and sign in.
  2. Tap Profile in the bottom menu.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Read the warning, type DELETE in the box, then tap Delete.

Option 3: ask us to delete it

Can't sign in anywhere? Send us a request. We will check that it comes from the account's owner (we may ask you to reply from the same email address), then delete the account. We reply within 30 days.

This opens an email to {{site.email}} with your details filled in. Press send in your email app to finish.

Your email app should have opened. Press send to complete the request. If nothing opened, email {{site.email}} from the address on your account and ask us to delete your Doggy Ji account.

What happens to your data

  • Pet Match listings and likes
  • Chats, messages and the Doggy Ji chat
  • Friends and notifications
  • Blood donor registrations
  • Bookings and reviews you wrote
  • Service provider profile and documents
  • Orders: sales records held by our store and for tax, unlinked from your app account
  • Past blood requests: kept as an emergency record, with your identity removed
  • Reports you filed: kept for moderation, without naming you

Chat images are removed automatically after 24 hours in any case. For more detail see our privacy policy.

The Doggy Ji shop (doggyji.com)

Orders and shop accounts are held by our store, separately from the app. To delete shop data, email {{site.email}} or call {{site.phone}}.
